Our place, Hotelgoldenanchor, is over in the Nuabazar area of Paradeep. We are located at Qno-F/32, which is easy to spot if you are heading through the Jagatsinghpur district. Living and working in a port town like this means things are always moving. We mostly see workers from the docks or people coming in for business at the port. The hotel isn't one of those massive buildings you see in big cities. It's more of a local setup where we know the neighbors. We spend our mornings getting the breakfast stuff ready and making sure the water is running right. Sometimes the salt air from the sea makes things rust a bit faster, so we are always painting or fixing something around the rooms. It’s a lot of work keeping up with it. The rooms are basic, just a bed and a place to sit, which is what most of our guests are looking for after a long day at the docks. We don't have a big fancy lobby. Usually, you’ll find one of us sitting near the entrance handling the keys and the ledger. It’s a straightforward business. We’ve been in Nuabazar for a while now and we like the community here. If you need a room in Paradeep, we’re usually around. The stairs are a bit steep but we keep them clean. It’s just a humble spot for travelers needing a break from the dust.
