Ganadeepam Saraka Foundation

You’ll find Ganadeepam Saraka Foundation over at Plot No 1 in Hazipur, just off the Biridi Road. We’re out in the Jagatsinghpur district, away from the big city noise. It’s a quiet spot, which is exactly how we like it. We don’t have a big corporate structure. It’s mostly just a few of us who grew up around here and wanted to start something for the local community. The office is a simple building, nothing too modern, but it does the job. We spend our mornings planning and our afternoons out in the village seeing how things are going. It’s a lot of walking and talking, honestly. We don't have a big budget for fancy things, so we make do with what we have. Sometimes the roof leaks a little when it rains hard, but we’ve got a bucket for that. We aren't trying to change the whole world; we just want to help out our neighbors in Hazipur and the surrounding areas. People know where to find us if they need anything. We’ve been at this for a while now, and it’s become a big part of our lives. It’s not always smooth sailing, and we definitely make mistakes sometimes. But we’re honest about it and we just keep trying. It’s just us, some desks, and a lot of local knowledge. We like the slow pace and the fact that we know everyone who walks through the door.
