Ddil, Paradeep

Our office is located at Quarter Number NB/261 in the Hanuman Jew Colony in Paradip. It is a bit of a trek to get out here if you aren't from the area, but it’s where all the action is near the port. Mr. S. K. Sahoo is usually around to keep an eye on things. Being in a colony means the office feels very much like a home. We have a small porch where we sometimes sit to talk about the day's tasks. Paradip can be quite humid being so close to the coast, so the office always has that slightly salty air. We handle a lot of industrial-related work for the Jagatsinghpur district. The office itself is pretty basic. We have some metal cupboards for our files and a few chairs for visitors. We don't bother with fancy decorations because we are mostly focused on getting the job done. It’s a quiet colony for the most part, except when the trucks are moving nearby. Most of the people who work here live close by too. We’ve been part of this community for years. It’s not a corporate headquarters, just a simple spot in Orissa where we handle our business daily. We don't have a big staff, just enough of us to manage the paperwork and the local coordination. It is honest work and we like being part of the Hanuman Jew Colony.
