DATREE NIDHI LIMITED is based in a house, specifically House No. 28 A, over in Pankapal Rahama. That’s in the Jagatsinghpur district of Orissa. Being in a house makes the whole thing feel a lot more personal than being in a big office block. We are located in a quiet part of Rahama. Most of us living and working here have been in Jagatsinghpur for most of our lives. We don't have any big-city ideas about how to run things. We just keep a clean office and try to stay on top of the work. The day usually starts with a bit of cleaning and then we get into the records. We have a lot of physical files because that’s just how we like to keep things. It feels safer to have it on paper sometimes. People from the village and nearby areas come in to chat or finish up their paperwork. We don't use any complicated words or try to act like we are more important than we are. We are just local residents who set up a place to handle these specific tasks. It’s a very calm environment most of the time. When the harvest season comes, things can get a bit slower as everyone is busy in the fields, but we stay open and keep the books updated. It is a simple way of life and we enjoy it.
