We operate out of a place called Sawarkheda in the Jafrabad area of Jalna. It’s a quiet spot, but we keep busy making agricultural equipment for the farmers nearby. Gawali Agri Mfg. Pvt. Ltd. started because we saw what people actually needed for their fields. We aren't a massive factory with robots and assembly lines. It’s mostly us and a few workers from the villages using welding machines and basic tools. Our workshop is near the apartment building in Sawarkheda, which makes it easy for the guys to get to work every day. Sometimes we run out of parts and have to wait for a delivery from the city, which slows things down for a week or two. We make things like ploughs and small trailers that can handle the rough, bumpy roads around here. The floor is usually covered in metal scraps, dust, and oil. It’s loud when the grinders are running, and we have to shout to be heard. We don’t have a marketing department or a fancy website to show off. Most people find out about us through word of mouth. If a farmer likes a tool we made, he tells his neighbor at the market. That’s how we’ve stayed in business all these years. We deal with a lot of dust during the summer and thick mud during the monsoon. It’s not a glamorous job, but it feels good to see our machines out in the fields doing real work. We try to fix things if they break.
