Kolkata Wheel

Kolkata Wheel is located at No.12, New Bikramgarh, right in the Jadavpur area. It is a local shop in a part of town that has a lot of its own character. The streets around New Bikramgarh can be quite narrow, and there are always people walking around or bikes zooming past the front door. We have been at this number 12 spot for a while now. The shop is filled with wheels, tires, and all the heavy tools we use to put them together for customers. It is a bit cramped inside because we try to keep as much stock as we can on the wooden shelves. Jadavpur is a lively neighborhood, so there is never a dull moment when the doors are open. We see all kinds of people coming in, from local students to residents who have lived on this street for decades. The shop usually smells like rubber and old oil, which is exactly how an auto place should be. We don't have a big neon sign or any fancy lights outside. Most people find us because they live nearby or they were told to come here by a friend who had their wheels fixed by us. We take pride in just doing the job and not trying to sell people things they don't really need. It is an honest way to spend the day in this little corner of Kolkata.
