Nagal Garment Industry

Nagal House is where we do all our work. It’s at number 1285 in Wright Town. It’s more of a home that turned into a business over the years. You can find us inside most days surrounded by rolls of cloth and thread. Nagal Garment Industry started small and we still feel pretty small even now. The sewing machines have a specific rhythm to them that fills up the rooms. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when a new shipment of fabric arrives, and we have to stack things in the hallway. Wright Town is a decent place to be, and it is easy for people to find us. We have a few windows that let in some air, which helps when the irons are going. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It is just a bunch of us sitting at tables, cutting patterns and stitching things together. We drink a lot of tea to keep going through the afternoon slump. Most of the people working here are from the local neighborhood. We talk about our families while we work. It’s a simple setup but it works for what we need to do. Every now and then, the power goes out, and we all just take a break until it comes back on. We’ve been here so long that we know which floorboards creak when you walk on them. It’s just home to us.
