Versatile Welfare Foundation

We are the Versatile Welfare Foundation and we work out of House No. 71 in Narayan Ghana, Jabalpur. Rakesh Patel is the one who helps keep things running here. It’s a simple house in a regular Jabalpur neighborhood. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment or a fleet of cars. Most of the time we’re just using our own phones and sitting around the kitchen table to figure out what needs to be done next. We started this because we saw things in our own neighborhood that weren't right. Instead of complaining, we decided to give it a name and try to fix it. We aren't a big city foundation with lots of funding. We rely on people knowing us and trusting us. Sometimes we make mistakes or things take longer than we thought they would. That’s just life in a small setup. We don't have a public relations person. If you want to know what we do, you just have to come by and see for yourself. The 482003 area is where we live and where we work. We’re just local people trying to make things a little better for the people living near us. It’s not complicated, it’s just daily work that we feel is worth doing. We don't have big speeches or events. We just show up and do what we can with the little we have. That’s enough for us and for the folks we help. It feels like a good way to live.
