Taj General Store

Taj General Store is down at 475/2 Shetala Mai on the Main Road in Ghamapur. We are right in Jabalpur, 482002. If you are looking for us, we are just opposite Manish Pharmaci. Our shop is one of those places where you can find a bit of everything. We have notebooks for students, soaps, biscuits, and even small hardware items sometimes. The building is a bit old and the paint is peeling in some corners but it does the job. Being on the Main Road means there is always noise from the rickshaws and buses passing by. We get a lot of foot traffic from people going to the pharmacy or the nearby houses. I’ve been running this place for quite a while now. It’s a small space so we have to use every inch of the walls for shelving. Sometimes it feels like the boxes are going to fall on me. We don’t bother with fancy displays or marketing stuff. We just put out what people ask for most. It’s a simple neighborhood shop for simple needs. Sometimes I sit outside on a stool when the shop is empty just to watch the street and the people walking by. It’s a good community here in Ghamapur and everyone knows each other. We keep our accounts in a ledger and don't worry about technology much. It’s just me and my small store trying to help the locals.
