Swatantra International Designing Works

You can find Swatantra International Designing Works on Kanchghar Main Road in Jabalpur. We are right opposite the Sai Baba Mandir and near the Kanchghar Chowk, which is a very busy intersection. Because of the temple and the chowk, there is always something happening right outside our window. Our office is where we do all the designing and planning. We have a couple of computers that we use for the drawings and a big table for looking at prints. It’s not a polished corporate office. It’s more of a workspace where things actually get made. We spend a lot of time thinking about how to put things together. Some days we are just sitting there staring at the screen, and other days we are out moving around the city. The noise from Kanchghar Main Road is just part of our daily life now. We don't really have any big mission statements or anything like that. We just show up and do the work that needs to be done. If someone comes in with a project, we sit down and talk about it over some water or tea. Jabalpur is a busy city and Kanchghar is right in the heart of it for us. We’ve been at this spot for a while and the locals know the name. We just try to do a decent job on every design we take on and keep things moving.
