Suyash Packaging

You can find Suyash Packaging over at 781, Gole Bazar. We’ve been in this market for years, and it’s a noisy, crowded, but friendly place to work. Our shop is quite small, so we have to stack our packaging materials all the way to the ceiling to make everything fit. It’s not the most organized-looking place, but there’s a system to the mess that we all understand. There are usually three or four of us working here at any time. We don't have a fancy office out back; we just sit on stools near the front counter. Most of our customers are locals who have been coming to us forever. We use a lot of handwritten receipts and keep our records in big thick books. It’s simpler that way. In the summer, it gets pretty warm inside, so we usually keep the front door wide open to catch a breeze. We spend a lot of time talking to the neighbors or the delivery guys who drop off the raw materials. We don't really do marketing or anything like that. People just find us by word of mouth or by walking past in the bazaar. It’s a humble setup, but it’s our livelihood. We just focus on getting the boxes and wraps ready for whoever needs them, without making a big deal out of it. It’s a plain and simple business.
