Suresh Kirana

Suresh Kirana is over in the Garha Bazaar part of Jabalpur. We are located in Anand Kunj, which is quite close to Gautam Ji Ki Madhiya. If you've lived in this area for a while, you probably know the spot. The shop is small and usually smells like spices and grains. We spend most of our time weighing out sugar or packing pulses into bags. It’s a busy place because Garha Bazaar is always full of people looking for something. We don't have any modern machines, just some old scales and a lot of patience. Sometimes the deliveries don't show up on time, and we have to tell people to come back tomorrow. It’s not perfect, but we do our best. The walls could use a bit of paint, but we are too busy serving customers to worry about that. Most of our day is spent talking to neighbors and making sure we have enough stock for the week. 482002 is a crowded pincode, but we like the energy of the market. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just want to make sure the bins are full and the customers are happy with what they buy. It’s a simple life running a kirana store in Jabalpur. We've been here a long time and plan to stay. It is just a basic shop for basic needs.
