Sunny Ambulance Service

Sunny Ambulance Service is based right in the Anant Hospital Compound on Station Road in Wright Town. It is a very convenient spot for us because we are close to where the hospital action is. We have our vehicles parked there, ready to go whenever a call comes through the line. Station Road is always packed with people and rickshaws, so we have to be very careful when we pull out. Our drivers spend a lot of time cleaning the vans and checking the oxygen tanks to be sure everything is ready. Wright Town is a central area, so we can get to most places in the city fairly quickly if the traffic isn't too bad that day. The office is small, just a desk and some chairs for when we are waiting between calls. It can be a bit loud with the trains nearby and the hospital noise, but we are used to it by now. We work all sorts of hours, nights, weekends, it doesn't really matter. When someone needs a ride to the hospital, we just get moving. There is no big corporate structure here or anything like that. It’s just us and the ambulances. We know the shortcuts around Wright Town and the best ways to avoid the railway crossing delays. Sometimes we sit in the hospital compound and have tea while waiting for the phone to ring. It’s a job that keeps you on your toes all the time. We don’t do much advertising because our name is on the side of the vans anyway.
