Shree Siddh Baba Kirana & General Stores

This store is situated in the Pisanhari Ki Mariya area of Jabalpur, specifically on the Nagpur Road in Garha. It is a place that stays busy because of the traffic moving towards the main highway. I have been running this kirana shop for several years. We keep a good amount of grains, lentils, and other kitchen basics. The shop has high ceilings but we have filled every inch with stock. You’ll see bags of salt piled up in the corner and jars of sweets near the front for the children. Working here in Garha, you see all kinds of people passing through. I usually open the shop around 9 AM after finishing my work at home. The Nagpur Road can get very loud with the trucks, so we have to speak up when talking to people inside. It’s a dusty place because of the road, but we try to keep the items clean. I use an old weighing scale for some things and a digital one for others. There isn't much space to walk inside because of all the sacks on the floor. My family helps me out during the festival seasons when everyone is buying sugar and oil in bulk. We don't do any delivery or anything, people just walk in and take what they need. It is just a steady, quiet way to earn a living in Jabalpur. We are just a local general store for the neighborhood folks.
