Shiv Shakti Ice Cream

We've been here at Samdareeya Mall in the Civic Centre for quite a while now. Running Shiv Shakti Ice Cream keeps us pretty busy, especially on the weekends when the mall gets really crowded with families. Most people tend to stop by after they finish watching a movie or after they've done their heavy shopping for the week. We just focus on keeping our freezers running properly and making sure there's enough variety for the kids who come in. It’s a small spot, but we try to keep it clean and have the scoops ready at all times. Jabalpur gets really hot in the summer, so the afternoon rush is usually our biggest challenge of the day. Sometimes we end up running out of the popular stuff faster than we expect, which is always a bit of a struggle. I've lived in this city my whole life and I have seen this Civic Centre area change quite a bit over the years. We aren't doing anything fancy or high-tech here. We are just serving cold treats to folks who are passing through the mall and need a break. My nephew helps out behind the counter most days since I can't be here every hour. We know a lot of the regular shoppers by face now. They come in, grab a cone, and head back out. It’s nice to see families sitting together for a few minutes. We don’t have much seating, but people make it work.
