Ram Jeneral & Kirana Stores

Ram Jeneral & Kirana Stores is located in the Madan Mahal area of Jabalpur. We are right on Nagpur Road, which is a busy stretch with lots of movement. Our shop provides the community with all the everyday things they need for their homes. We have rice, oil, sugar, and a variety of snacks and toiletries. It is a local kirana store, so it's not very big, but we pack a lot into the space we have. You will see sacks of different grains stacked on the floor and shelves filled to the ceiling with packets and bottles. The traffic on Nagpur Road can be quite heavy, so there is always a bit of noise and hustle around the shop. We see many people who stop their bikes for a quick minute to grab something they need on their way home from work. The shop is run by a few of us who have lived in Jabalpur for a long time. We know most of our customers by their names and what they usually buy. It isn't a fancy place with bright lights or air conditioning. We just have a few fans and the front door stays open all day. We start early to catch the morning crowd and stay open until the evening rush is over. It’s a lot of work to keep track of the inventory and handle the daily sales, but it’s a steady life. We just focus on keeping the basics in stock for the families nearby.
