Ram General Kirana Store

Ram General Kirana Store is our small business located on Gupteshwar Road in Madan Mahal, Jabalpur. We are very close to Dasmesh Dwar, which is a well-known spot in this part of town. Our shop is where we spend most of our waking hours. It is a kirana store, so we deal with all the food items and household goods that people use every day. We have bins of lentils and rice, and the walls are lined with all sorts of packets and bottles. Jabalpur has a certain rhythm to it, and we are right in the middle of it here in Madan Mahal. The mornings are for the early birds who need milk or bread, and the evenings are for the families doing their main shopping. Being near Dasmesh Dwar brings in a lot of people who are just passing through the area. We try to keep the shop stocked with whatever people ask for most. If someone asks for something we don't have, we try to get it for the next time they come in. It is just a few of us working here, so we do everything from cleaning the floors to keeping the accounts. It is not an easy job, standing on your feet all day, but it is what we do. We like talking to the people who stop by. It makes the day go faster. We don't have fancy displays, just the things you need for your kitchen and home. That is all.
