Rakesh Kirana Stores is located right on the Main Road in Bilahari, Sadar. We share a similar address with a few other places, but we have our own way of doing things here. The shop is full of the daily necessities that every house needs. We spend a lot of our time moving boxes around and making sure the jars are filled up. It is a lot of physical work, but it keeps us moving. The street outside is usually full of noise and people going about their business, which we have gotten used to over the years. We aren't some big supermarket where you can't find anyone to help you. Here, you just talk to us directly. We know which brands our regulars prefer and we try to keep those in stock as much as we can. Sometimes the weather gets really hot and we have to keep the fans going full blast just to stay comfortable. We don't have a fancy mission or anything. We just want to make sure the people in Bilahari have a reliable place to get their food and supplies. It’s an honest day’s work for us. We open the shutters early and don't close until the sun is well down and everyone has gone home to their families.
