If you find yourself in the South Civil Lines area, you might pass by our building at 464/4/1. We’ve been operating Prabhu Precision Pvt.Ltd. from this spot for a good number of years. It’s a bit of a mix around here, with some houses and other small workshops nearby. We do a lot of precision work, which basically means we spend our days staring at small components and making sure they fit where they’re supposed to. It takes a lot of patience and some of the older guys here are much better at it than the new hires. The workshop isn't massive, so we have to keep everything organized or we’d run out of space to walk. We have a couple of lathes and some milling machines that have seen better days, but they still run true. We don't have a big reception area or a receptionist. Usually, if the bell rings, one of us just wipes the oil off our hands and goes to see who it is. Most of our tools have been here as long as the building has. We keep them well-oiled and put away at night. Sometimes we stay late when a big order comes in, but mostly we head home when the sun goes down. It’s a decent way to earn a living. We don’t do much advertising; people just know we are here at 464/4/1 when they need something made carefully and without any trouble.
