Pehu Kirana And General Store is situated right on Patan Road, opposite Radio Stationary in the Karmeta area. It’s a convenient spot for people living around here. We handle a lot of kirana items, basically everything for the kitchen and the home. The main road gets quite dusty, so we are always cleaning the glass jars and the counter. It’s a family-run thing, so someone is always behind the desk. We see a lot of people coming from the nearby residential blocks. Mornings are usually the busiest when everyone wants fresh supplies for their meals. We try to keep prices fair because we know everyone in the neighborhood. Some days are slow, and we just sit and watch the traffic go by on Patan Road. We have snacks, grains, and all those small things you forget to buy at the big supermarket. The shop isn't very large, but we pack it full of items. If you can’t find something, you just have to ask. We might have tucked it away in a corner or on a high shelf. We’ve been here in Jabalpur for a while now, and we like the routine. It’s not a complicated business. We buy goods, we sell them, and we talk to the people who walk through the door. It keeps us busy from morning till late evening. We often stay open a bit later if the street is still busy.
