Parwati Kirana And General Stores

I’ve been running Parwati Kirana And General Stores for a good while now here in Ravindra Nager. Our place is tucked right besides Dhani Kutiya in Adhartal. It’s not a huge fancy place, just a regular shop where we keep things people need every day. You know, stuff like different types of rice, dal, soaps, and those small packets of spices. The morning usually starts early when the milk crates arrive and people come by before heading to work. Jabalpur gets quite hot in the summers so we try to keep the shop cool but it’s mostly just a ceiling fan going all day. Sometimes the delivery guys are late and the shelves look a bit empty for a few hours but we manage to get things back in order soon enough. People from around Jabalpur City stop in while they are passing through Ravindra Nager. It’s a busy little spot and we know most of the faces who walk through the door. We don’t really do any big advertising or anything like that because everyone around here already knows where we are. Usually, I’m the one behind the counter and if I’m busy, someone from the family helps out. It’s just how it goes in a small business like this. We just keep the basics stocked and try to make sure we don’t run out of the items that everyone asks for constantly. It’s a simple life running a store here in Jabalpur.
