Our little shop is No. 12 on the Main Road in Adhartal. If you know where the Adhartal Police Station is, we are just a short walk from there. Jabalpur can get quite dusty, so we are always wiping down the glass counters where we keep the homeopathic medicines. It’s a dual kind of place because we handle the pharmacy side but also talk to people about their diets. We spend a lot of time looking through different remedies and organizing the little white pills into bottles. The diet side involves a lot of talking about what people are eating and trying to help them figure out better habits. It’s not like a big clinical environment; it’s more personal. People often stop by just to ask a quick question while they’re out doing their other shopping. We’ve got a small space, so we have to be very organized with how we store everything. The police station being so close means there’s always some activity on the road outside. Sometimes we sit on the stools behind the counter and just watch the traffic go by when it’s slow. We don't use any big fancy machines for the diet plans, just simple logic and some good old-fashioned advice. It’s a quiet life for the most part, helping folks out one by one. We like being part of the Adhartal community and knowing the regulars by name as they walk through the door.
