New Morden General Store

Our shop, New Morden General Store, is located at Shop No. 33 in the Sadar area of Jabalpur. We are right in front of the Choupati, which is always a lively spot to be. If you know Jabalpur, you know Sadar is where everyone comes to walk around or grab a bite to eat. Our place is not very large, but we pack a lot of things into the shelves. We sell mostly daily items that people realize they need at the last minute. Being near the Choupati means we see a lot of different people every day. Some are just passing through to eat, while others live right around the corner and come in every day. We have been running things here for a while now. The morning time is usually quiet, giving us time to sweep up and arrange the new stock that came in on the truck. By the evening, the whole area wakes up and it gets quite noisy with all the food stalls and people talking. We don't do anything special, just keep the shop open and help whoever walks in the door. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to sit in the dark for a bit with a flashlight, but that's just how it is here. We like being in the middle of all the action in Sadar. It keeps the day interesting and the hours go by fast when you are busy.
