Narmada Hospital

Out here in Shatabdhipuram, things are a bit quieter than the city center. We are located on MR IV. The hospital is a plain building that most people recognize if they live in this ward. I’ve been working here for a while now and I’ve seen the neighborhood grow around us. When we first started, there weren't as many houses nearby. Now, it's a lot busier. The hospital itself is pretty standard. We have the usual beds and the smell of cleaning fluid is always in the air. I spend most of my day walking between the reception and the wards. We don't have a fancy website or anything like that. People just know us from word of mouth. The staff stays busy with the daily routine of check-ups and looking after the people who stay overnight. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in. It’s just how things are here. We have a few benches outside where people sit when the weather is nice. It’s a basic place, but we keep it clean. We don't use big words or try to act like we are something we aren't. We are just a local hospital in Shatabdhipuram trying to do the work that needs doing. It's a steady life and we are used to the rhythm of it. There is always someone who needs something.
