Our place is located at No. 764 Nagpur Road, right across from Hotel Guljar. It’s a busy stretch of road with a lot of trucks and cars passing by all the time. Commercial Motor Sales Pvt. Ltd. has been operating from this spot for quite a while now. We deal with vehicles, mostly the larger ones meant for business. The yard is usually full of inventory and we spend a lot of time walking around outside. It gets hot out there in the afternoon. We have an office inside where we handle the registration papers and the sales documents. It’s not a fancy glass building, just a practical space where we can get work done. We see a lot of drivers and business owners coming through. They usually know what they are looking for. Opposite Hotel Guljar is an easy way to find us. We often have mechanics working in the back part of the lot. There is always the sound of engines or tools clanking. It is a noisy place but that is just part of the job. We keep a ledger of everything that comes in and out. Sometimes the paperwork piles up on the desks. We drink our tea and get through the day one customer at a time. Nagpur Road is always moving, and we are right there in the middle of it. We try to keep the gates open early so the drivers can pull in without blocking the main road traffic.
