Murli Kirana

Running Murli Kirana over here in Gorakhpur keeps us on our toes most of the day. The shop is located at Shop No 2, right near the Central Bank, which is a big landmark for anyone trying to find us. We are tucked into the Haathi Taal Colony area of Jabalpur. It’s a decent spot because people going to the bank often remember they need some sugar or tea leaves and just walk across. The colony itself is quite lived-in, so we know a lot of the families who stay around here. Jabalpur weather can be a bit much sometimes, but the shop stays relatively cool under the shade of the nearby buildings. We just stock the usual groceries and household items that people ask for. It’s not a complicated business; we just keep the shelves filled with pulses, rice, and different kinds of snacks. Most of our morning is spent taking deliveries from the local distributors and then arranging things so they look halfway decent. It is a lot of lifting and moving boxes, but that is just part of the job. We don’t really do anything special, just show up every morning and wait for the regulars to come by. Sometimes the traffic on the main road gets loud, but inside the colony, it stays a bit quieter. We’ve been at this for a long time now in this same spot, just providing what the neighborhood needs for their kitchens.
