Mohit Provisions

Mohit Provisions is easy to find if you are near Ahinsa Chowk on the Main Road in Vijay Nagar Colony. We are right there in the middle of all the action in Jabalpur. This shop has been part of my life for years now. We sell everything a household needs, from cleaning supplies to cooking ingredients. The space is a bit cramped because we try to keep a lot of stock. You might have to squeeze past a few bags of lentils to get to the back. It is not a supermarket with bright lights and fancy aisles. It is just a regular provision store where we know what our customers like. During the festivals, it gets really hectic here. We stay open much later than usual to make sure everyone gets what they need for their celebrations. My nephew comes over to help during those times. The noise from Ahinsa Chowk is constant, but you stop noticing it after a while. We have a small radio that plays the local station in the background most of the time. It is just me and the customers for the majority of the day. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just walk in because they know we have what they need. It is a simple business, and we like it that way. We just keep the shelves full and the floor swept as much as possible. It is just a regular day-to-day job for us here.
