Suresh Traders

We are situated at No. 335 on Gorai Road. It’s a busy stretch of pavement and we are right in the thick of it. Suresh Traders has been here for a good while, and the shop is packed from floor to ceiling with all the different things we trade. It can be a bit overwhelming if you haven't been here before because there’s so much stuff everywhere. We have a counter near the front where we spend most of our time. The ceiling fan wobbles a bit, but it keeps the air moving on hot days. We get all sorts of people coming in, from neighbors to folks who have driven across town. We don’t really do any big marketing. People just know that we have what they need. We spend our mornings checking the stock and the afternoons dealing with the deliveries. It’s a lot of manual work, moving boxes and counting items. The street noise is a constant background sound, but we don’t even notice it anymore. We keep a small radio playing in the back sometimes. It’s a straightforward way to make a living. We aren't trying to be the biggest or the most modern shop around. We just want to keep the doors open and make sure our regulars are taken care of when they walk in for their usual orders.
