Mani Medicose

Being on the Ranilal Chowk Main Road means we see a lot of the city life every single day. Mani Medicose sits right in the thick of it. The traffic is almost constant from morning until late at night. We have learned to work with the sound of horns in the background. The shop itself is pretty straightforward. We have the usual rows of medicines and health supplies stacked up. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time finding a spot to park out front because the road is so busy. We end up carrying boxes quite a distance some mornings. It keeps us moving, I guess. The interior has fluorescent lights that hum a little bit if you listen closely. We spend a lot of time checking dates and making sure nothing is sitting on the shelf too long. It is just the way a shop in the city works. You have to be quick because people are usually in a hurry to get somewhere else. We don't have much space for lounging around. Every bit of wall is covered in shelving. Even the floor gets a bit crowded when a new shipment arrives. It is just us here, making sure the orders are right and the doors stay open. We’ve seen many shops come and go around Ranilal Chowk, but we are still here doing our thing and keeping the shelves full of whatever the customers might need.
