Mahawar Kirana

We've been running Mahawar Kirana here in Garha for quite some time now. Our shop is right near the Post Office at Gulaua Chowk in Shukla Nagar. It’s a busy spot but we like it here. People around Jabalpur City know where to find us. We mostly deal with daily groceries and stuff you need for the kitchen. Every morning we open up early to make sure people can get their milk or tea leaves before work. It gets a bit crowded in the evenings when everyone is coming back home. Sometimes the boxes are stacked a bit high because new stock just arrived, but we manage. My family helps out behind the counter. We know most of the neighbors by name since they’ve been coming here for years. It's just a simple place. No fancy displays or anything like that. We just keep the shelves filled with rice, dal, oil, and whatever else folks ask for. If something isn't on the shelf, you can just ask and we'll check the back room. The traffic at Gulaua Chowk can be a lot sometimes, but that’s just how it is in this part of Jabalpur. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure things stay organized enough to find what you're looking for. It's honest work. We've seen kids grow up and start coming here to buy things for their own houses now. That's the best part about being in Shukla Nagar.
