We are situated at R-1-2 in Sneh Nagar, right in the heart of Jabalpur City. It’s a very active area with a lot of shops and houses close together. Our space is basically a large garage and a few rooms that we converted into a food business. We have big metal doors that stay open all day. Inside, you’ll find stacks of bags filled with different food items. It smells like earth and dried goods in there. We don't have a showroom or a reception desk. If someone comes by, they usually just talk to us while we are working. We have a couple of guys who help with the heavy lifting and the deliveries. Jabalpur is quite humid, so we have to be very careful that nothing gets damp. We check the stock every morning to make sure everything is dry. Our office is just a corner with an old desk that has one wobbly leg. We use it to keep track of the daily sales. We don't do much in the way of marketing. Most of our customers are local retailers who have been buying from us for a long time. They just call us on the phone or stop by on their scooters. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, and we just sit outside on the steps and wait for it to come back. It’s a typical small business life, with its own set of daily problems.
