Goutam Ias Academy

Goutam Ias Academy is tucked away in Wright Town, number 3267 to be exact. We are quite close to Samadhan Hospital, so it is easy to find if you know that landmark. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but that keeps the noise down mostly. Inside, it’s mostly just shelves full of heavy books and stacks of old newspapers. We spend a lot of time reading through current events and trying to make sense of the vast syllabus that comes with these exams. It gets pretty crowded in the afternoons when everyone shows up at once. Sometimes the fans make a clicking sound that we keep meaning to fix, but we usually forget once we start talking about history or politics. There isn't any fancy decor here. We just have sturdy wooden tables and chairs that have been around for years. We stay open late because the library part is always being used by someone who doesn't have a quiet spot at home. It’s just how things are here in Jabalpur. We are just a group of people trying to help others get through some of the toughest exams out there. No big promises or slogans, just a lot of reading and sitting around talking about the news. It is practical work and we enjoy the routine of it every day.
