Our office is located over in Transport Nagar, specifically at Plot N.B-5 in Chandal Bhata. If you know Jabalpur, you know this area stays pretty busy with all the trucks and people moving around all day long. It’s not the quietest spot in the world, but it works for what we do. We’ve been set up here in Ukhari-2 for some time now. The building is okay, nothing too special to look at from the outside, but it keeps the rain off our heads. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, chairs, and a lot of files that we have to keep track of. We spend most of our mornings drinking chai and going through the mail that comes in. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just have to sit and wait or talk until it comes back on. That’s just how things go around here. People from the neighborhood drop by quite a bit. They usually have questions about their savings or just want to see how things are going. We don't use any big words or complicated systems. It's just us keeping the books and making sure the numbers add up at the end of the month. It can get pretty hot in the afternoons during the summer, so we keep the fans running full blast. It’s a decent place to work and the people around here are mostly friendly once you get to know them. We aren't doing anything fancy, just our daily jobs.
