Disha Marketing & General Stores

Our shop, Disha Marketing & General Stores, is located right on the Main Road here in Jabalpur. It’s a very busy area with cars and bikes zooming past all day long. Being on the Main Road means we get all sorts of people walking in. We sell a lot of different things, not just groceries. You can find general items that you’d need for your house or for school. The store is usually quite full of boxes because we try to keep plenty of stock on hand. Sometimes it’s hard to find a place to stand when we’re unloading a truck. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It's just us working behind the counter. The building is a bit older, and the sign outside has faded a little from the sun, but everyone knows it's us. We stay open pretty late to catch the people heading home from work. It gets a bit chaotic during the festival seasons, but we enjoy the rush. We don't have a website or fancy ads. We just talk to our customers and help them find what they need. It’s a simple business. My father started this and we’ve just kept it running the same way. The floors are a bit worn down from all the walking, but that just shows how many people have visited us over the years.
