Dipak Provisions

Dipak Provisions has been a part of this Garha neighborhood in Jabalpur for a while. We are located right on the Main Narmada Road, which stays pretty active with all the traffic going towards Gwarighat. It’s a small shop, mainly focusing on the things people need every day like oil, pulses, and snacks. I started this place because I wanted to work for myself and stay close to home. The space is a bit tight sometimes when we have a lot of crates piled up, but we make it work. Most of our customers are locals who live in the lanes behind the main road. They come in for a packet of milk or some sugar and we usually have a quick word about the weather or the traffic outside. It’s not a big supermarket, just a local provision store where things are familiar. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to manage with a torch, but that’s just part of life here in Jabalpur. I try to keep the prices fair because I know most of the people who shop here personally. It’s a straightforward business. We open early and stay open until late evening so people can stop by after work. Nothing complicated about it, just keeping the shelves filled and the floor swept as best as we can. We've seen a lot of kids grow up and start coming here as adults. It feels like we are part of the brick and mortar of this street.
