Chandulal & Company

Our place is at Plot No. 1001 in the Madan Mahal area, specifically in Ganga Sagar. We’re right near the Hanuman Mandir on Jarha Road, which is a good landmark if you’re looking for us. Chandulal & Company has been around for a long time. It started with my grandfather and we’ve stayed in this same spot ever since. We do a bit of everything here, mostly trading and general supplies. The building is older and has been patched up a few times over the decades. We have a small courtyard where we load and unload the goods. It can get pretty noisy when the temple has a festival, but we don’t mind the energy. We aren't a big corporation with departments and managers. It’s just the family and a few workers who have been with us forever. We treat our customers like neighbors because most of them are. We don’t use any fancy sales talk. We just show what we have and tell people the price. If they like it, they buy it. We keep our records in big ledger books and try to stay on top of the inventory. It’s a simple way of doing business, but it has worked for us for three generations. We like the history of this area and being right here on Jarha Road near the temple feels like home to us. It's just a regular business doing regular things for regular people.
