Batalia Eye Hosptial

We are located on Dr. Batalia Road, which is right near the old clock tower. You can usually hear the bells from the tower if the windows are open and the traffic isn't too loud. The hospital has been a part of this area for a long time. The building itself shows its age a bit, but it serves its purpose for checking eyes and doing surgeries. We have several floors, and the hallways can be quite narrow in some parts. There’s always someone sitting on the benches near the entrance, waiting for a family member or their own turn. We spend our time cleaning instruments and talking to patients about their vision. It gets very bright in the surgery rooms because of the big overhead lights. In the lobby, the ceiling fans hum along and provide a bit of a breeze. We have a lot of older patients who have been coming here for years, so we recognize many of the families. The road outside is always full of rickshaws and people heading to the market area near the tower. It’s a bit of a noisy environment, but once you step inside, things feel a little more settled. We keep our records in big cabinets and sometimes it takes a minute to find the right folder. It’s just how we operate, keeping things moving as best as we can in this old neighborhood.
