Badri Kirana Shop

Badri Kirana Shop is situated at 1064 in Jabalpur City, right in the middle of the Subjimandi Niwarganj area. If you have ever been to the Sabzi Mandi, you know it is a very loud and hectic place. We deal mostly in bulk groceries like dal, rice, and different types of flour. The floor is usually covered in some bit of grain or dust from the heavy sacks we move around. We start our day very early because the market starts moving before the sun is even up. It is a lot of physical work, dragging bags and weighing out portions for the local customers. The smell of earthy spices and fresh vegetables from the market outside is always there. We do not have a lot of space for people to stand inside, so they usually wait on the edge of the shop while we pack their goods. It is a bit of a mess sometimes with the crates and the weight scales everywhere. We try to be quick so people can get back to their own work in the mandi. Jabalpur can be quite chaotic, and Niwarganj is the heart of that chaos. We do not have any big signs or advertisements. People know us because we have been here at this spot for ages. It is just a basic kirana shop where you get what you need for your kitchen. No fuss, just trading goods every day.
