Akarshan Kala Kendra

We have been here in Adhartal for quite some time now. Akarshan Kala Kendra sits right in Block No 7, not too far from the Tata Mobile Tower in Alok Nagar. It is easy to find if you know where Dhani Ki Kutia is. People around Jabalpur know us for the classes we hold. We started out small and just kept going because kids kept coming back to learn more. It isn't a fancy setup, just a place where things get done. We spend most of our days working with students on different types of art and stuff. Sometimes the room gets a bit crowded but that's just how it is. It's mostly quiet work here. We don’t really do big advertisements or anything like that. Most folks find out about us from their neighbors or friends. Being in Alok Nagar feels like home to us. The building is simple. We keep the doors open and try to help anyone who wants to learn something new. It is a local thing. We see the same faces every week and that is nice. The area is busy, especially near the tower, but inside we try to keep things focused. The parking can be a bit tricky if everyone arrives at once. We've had some of the same teachers since the beginning. It's not always perfect, sometimes things are messy, but it works for us and the people who come here. We are just a part of the neighborhood, doing what we know.
