Ajay Kirana & General Store

Ajay Kirana & General Store is a small place in Napier Town, specifically around the Russel Chowk area of Jabalpur. Our address is Shop Number 26. If you are looking for us, we are right across from the Yamaha showroom. It’s a very busy intersection, so there is always the sound of horns and engines in the air. We sell all the basic groceries and general household items. The shop is packed from floor to ceiling because space is tight in this part of town. We have everything from tea leaves to washing powder tucked into the shelves. Being in Napier Town means we see a lot of variety in our customers. Some are just passing through the chowk and need a bottle of water, while others are neighbors doing their weekly shopping. We spend a lot of time just organizing the stock and talking to the people who stop by. The light in the shop isn't very bright, but we know where everything is even in the dark. We don't use any modern marketing tricks or fancy logos. We just open the shop, put out the displays of snacks, and wait for the day to start. It’s a bit of a grind sometimes, especially when the weather is hot and the traffic is heavy, but it’s our life. We just stay focused on the daily work and keep the shop going for the locals.
