Paathshala

Paathshala is located over in Adhartal, right where most people around here pass through on their way to work or errands. The building isn't anything special to look at, but it serves its purpose. We have a few rooms set up with desks and chairs that have seen better days. Every morning, we unlock the front door and start getting things ready. It’s usually quiet for the first hour, and then it gets noisy once everyone starts arriving. We spend most of our time dealing with paperwork or talking to people who drop by to ask questions about what we do here. There’s a lot of back and forth. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just have to sit by the windows to get enough light to keep working. That's just how it is in Adhartal sometimes. We don't have any fancy equipment or big signs. It’s just us and the students or clients who come in. We try to keep the place tidy, but with so many people coming in and out, there's usually a bit of a mess by the end of the afternoon. We pack up our things late in the evening and do it all again the next day. It’s steady work and it keeps us busy. We like being part of the local scene here without making too much of a fuss about it. It is just the daily routine for us.
