M/S Ankit Jindal & Co.

Down here on Congress Road, the Islampur Bazar is always full of people and noise. M/S Ankit Jindal & Co. is right in the middle of it all, which makes for interesting days. We are in the Uttar Dinajpur district, and this area has always been a hub for trading and selling. We do a bit of everything here, mostly dealing with the local merchants and people coming in from the nearby villages. Our office is a bit old and the walls could probably use some fresh paint, but it works for what we need. We have piles of ledgers and papers everywhere because that’s just how we keep track of things. It’s a busy atmosphere with people coming in and out to talk about prices or deliveries. Sometimes the road outside gets so blocked with rickshaws and carts that we can barely get our own supplies through. We just take it as it comes. There is no point in getting stressed about the chaos of the bazaar. We have been here long enough to understand how the market moves. My staff and I usually have tea together in the afternoon when things quiet down for a few minutes. We aren't trying to be a big corporate firm or anything like that. We are just a local business on Congress Road trying to do right by our neighbors and keep the accounts balanced at the end of the month.
