Kalikaamrut Agro Processing Private Limited is situated over in Islampur. Specifically, we are at 50/5 Shahunagar, right on the Ring Road. This is in the Urun area, part of the Valava Tehsil. It’s a very local operation. We spend most of our time at the processing unit. The Ring Road makes it easier for the trucks to come and go. It’s not a very busy city like Mumbai, so things move at a different pace here. Our setup is pretty basic. We have the machinery and some space for storage. We aren't fancy people. We just focus on the agro-processing work. The address 50/5 is where you will find us most days of the week. There’s a lot of dust sometimes because of the road, but that’s just how it is in this part of Islampur. We started this business to stay close to the village and the farms. It’s a lot of hard work, especially during the harvest seasons. We don’t have a marketing team or anything like that. We just talk to the farmers and handle the processing. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living. The village of Urun is quiet for the most part, except for the traffic on the main road near us. We hope to keep doing this for a long time without needing a big office.
