Bishal Enterprises

We’ve been here in Old Station Basti for a while now. If you know Islampur, you know how busy this part of Ward No- 2 gets during the day. It’s mostly just us trying to keep things moving. We started Bishal Enterprises without much of a plan, just a need to do something for ourselves. My brother and I usually handle the daily stuff. Some days are slow, while others have us running around until the sun goes down. The shop isn't fancy. It’s just a place where we keep our stock and talk to people who walk in. People stop by and sometimes stay for tea even if they don't need anything right then. It gets dusty because of the road, but that’s just how it is around here. We don’t really do fancy ads or anything like that. Most folks find us because they live nearby or heard about us from someone else in the neighborhood. We try to be fair with what we do. The rain sometimes leaks through the front door, so we have to keep an eye on that during monsoon. It’s a lot of work, keeping track of everything, but it keeps us busy. We just hope to keep the doors open and things running smoothly for as long as we can. Islampur is a good place to be, and Old Station Basti feels like home to us now.
