Wild Creations

Wild Creations is located near the St. Mary's Church building in Nellayi. It’s a quiet enough area most of the time, except when there is a wedding or a service going on at the church. Our workspace is pretty simple. We have a lot of tools and materials scattered around because we are always in the middle of making something. It’s not the kind of place where you’d want to wear your Sunday best because there is usually dust or paint somewhere. We started this because we liked working with our hands. We don't have a fancy front desk or a person to greet you at the door. Usually, you just walk in and find us working on a project in the back. The building we are in is older, and the windows rattle a bit when the wind picks up, but it has a lot of character. We like being in Nellayi because it’s a bit away from the main rush of the bigger towns. It gives us a bit of peace to focus on what we are creating. People from the village often stop by just to see what we are up to. We don't have a big mission statement or a fancy philosophy. We just like making things and we do it one day at a time. It’s a messy, creative life and we wouldn't have it any other way.
