H M T Machine Tools has been sitting here at 22, Cent Residential Land for quite some time now. We are right near the tar road front, so you can’t really miss us if you’re driving by. It gets a bit dusty with the traffic coming off the main road, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. Most days start early before the sun gets too high. We spend a lot of time looking at metal and figuring out why things aren't turning the way they should. It’s not fancy work, but it keeps the lights on. The shop is full of spare parts and grease, and there is always something that needs fixing. Sometimes people just stop by to ask for directions because of where we are situated. The tar road out front is usually busy, especially in the mornings when everyone is rushing to get somewhere. We just stick to our corner here. We’ve got our tools spread out and we try to get through the pile of work that builds up on the bench. It’s a bit cramped inside with all the machinery, but we know where everything is. You get used to the noise after a while. If you look for the residential plots, you’ll find us right there on the edge. It isn't a showroom, just a place where machine work gets done by hand. The tar road front makes it a bit noisy when the heavy trucks go by, but you just learn to talk a bit louder.
