About Chaithanya Tours Travels – Tourism in Irinjalakuda
Being right near the Municipal Bus Stand means we are always in the middle of a crowd. There’s never a quiet moment with the buses constantly backing up and the drivers shouting to get passengers on board. Our little spot is right there in the thick of it. We spend most of our time on the phone or talking to people who wander in looking for a way to get from one town to another. The walls are covered with old maps and a few calendars that are sometimes a month behind. It’s a small space, so if more than three people come in at once, it starts to feel very crowded. We keep a plastic water dispenser in the corner for anyone who’s been waiting out in the heat. The floor gets tracked with mud whenever it rains, which seems to be often lately. It’s not the kind of place where you’d sit and relax for long; it’s more of a stop-gap where people come to figure out their next move. We’ve got a couple of old computers that take a while to boot up in the morning, but they eventually do the job. It’s a bit chaotic, but that’s just the nature of being located next to a major transport hub. We see all kinds of people every day and just try to keep the schedules straight. It gets tiring but it is what it is.
