Suguna Poultry Farm Ltd

Our farm is located out on Inkollu Road, at number 569/5 in Nuthalapadu. Suguna Poultry Farm Ltd has been operating here for a good many years now. Raising birds is a job that never really stops. There aren't any weekends or holidays because the birds need to be fed and looked after every single day, no matter what the weather is like. It’s a bit of a drive from the main town center, but the quiet out here is better for the farm and the animals. We spend nearly all our time in the sheds or checking on the feed supplies. It gets pretty loud inside and the smell is something you just stop noticing after you've worked here for a week. We’re just local folks working here, making sure the daily tasks get done. The Inkollu Road isn't always in the best shape, but the delivery trucks manage to get through. We don't have a big corporate office, just a small room where we keep the records and handle the phone calls. Most of our day is spent walking between the buildings and checking the equipment. It’s practical, hard work. We deal with the feed, the water lines, and keeping everything as clean as we can. It's not a glamorous life, but it's what we do. We have to watch the weather closely because the heat can be very hard on the birds. Every morning starts early, and we just keep at it.
