Sai Industries

We are over at Plot No C24 in the Nagapur MIDC area of Ahmednagar. If you know the industrial zone, you know it’s a lot of metal, noise, and sheds. Our workshop is one of many along this stretch. Sai Industries is basically where we spend most of our daylight hours working with machines and tools. The floor is usually covered in some kind of metal shavings or oil, no matter how much we sweep it. We don't really do the whole corporate thing with suits and big meetings. It’s more about getting the job done on the lathe or the welding bench. The heat in Ahmednagar can be something else in the summer, especially inside a tin shed, so we keep the fans going as much as we can. We’ve got a small team here. We mostly look out for each other and make sure nobody gets hurt. There’s a tea stall not far from here where we usually take a break in the afternoon. It’s a standard industrial life, nothing too special to talk about. We get orders, we make the parts, and we send them out. Sometimes things break and we have to fix them, which takes up half the day. It’s just how it is in the MIDC. We’ve been at this plot for a good amount of time now. We just try to keep our machines running and our heads down while we work through whatever projects come through the door.
