Shemrock Sunrise

This is House Number 197 in Ward Number 9, right in the heart of Indri. It’s more of a home-like setting than a big institution. We use the lower floors for the classrooms. The rooms are painted in bright colors like blue and pink because that’s what was available at the time. There’s a small front area where the kids can run around for a bit, though it’s not a full-sized park. We keep some toys in the corner of the main room, mostly plastic blocks and some old puzzles. The street outside can get a bit noisy with the local vendors calling out, but we just shut the windows when it gets too loud. Most of the children live just a few houses away, so their parents just walk them over in the morning. We have three or four teachers who handle everything from teaching to helping with snacks. The kitchen area is where we keep the water bottles and lunch bags. Sometimes the floor gets a bit messy after a craft project, but we clean it up before the next group comes in. It feels very local and familiar to everyone who lives in this ward. There aren’t any big signs or flashy lights, just a small painted board near the front door. It’s a humble spot in Karnal where the days pass by with the sound of kids talking and the bell ringing for lunch.
